Priority Youth Project Liverpool
Project comprises of a dedicated team of youth workers, volunteers
and trustees who live and work in the community, and have young
people’s best interests at heart.
Based in Liverpool, we are a charitable youth organisation working with children and young people aged 8-25, with our primary focus on 13-19 year olds. We provide support, education and leisure activities to develop their skills and improve opportunities, enabling them to advance positively into mature responsible individuals.
With an excellent support network comprising of young people, parents and community members, and working closely in partnership with Liverpool City Council, Young Addaction, and other youth providers in the area, we aim to offer the best service possible to young people.
Where we work:
We are currently working within the wards of West Derby, Yew Tree, Knotty Ash and Old Swan.
Our project aims:
To provide a stimulating and inspirational environment that supports emotional growth and physical well being
To build and sustain good, strong relationships with young people, families and communities
Reduce the risk of young people aged 11-19 years being socially excluded from their local community
Reduce the numbers of young people at risk of offending or dependent on health services
Improve confidence and raise self-esteem through a transition programme
Reduce the number of young people who are NEET
Services we offer are needs-led by young people and include:
Confidential advice, support and guidance
A wide variety of stimulating activities and trips out
Increasing life skills with courses aimed to increase employability
