Summer is always a challenge for the staff team at PYP. With multiple summer clubs, trips everyday and our usual provisions, we are always working none stop to keep out keen young people busy!

Our Summer Clubs at the Deysbrook Village Centre and Blueberry Park were such a hit in 2018 we kept them going this year. We had plenty of fun activities and exciting visitors attending the Summer Clubs such as, Circus Frank and Chris Ryder an amazing Caricature. With the help of Claire from Good Grub Club all of our young people got the opportunity to get involved in cooking lessons and were given a tasty lunch to fill them up!

Throughout the summer we had an amazing variety of trips for all of our young people to take turns a piece attending. We visited places such as, Delamere Forrest for a Bike Ride, Liverpool Water Sports Centre, Gellings Riding Centre, Bubble Football, Lathom Fisheries and many more! Each trip that we went on was always full, sometimes even a reserve list was put in place as our Summer Programme is getting more and more popular each year.

We finished off our Summer Programme with two trips to Mountain Monkeys, as a thank you to everyone who had attended the Summer Clubs and all the well behaved young people over the summer holidays. Located in the middle of Carr Mill Dam, St Helens, everyone got involved with a variety of activities such as Canoeing, Giant Paddle Boarding, Bush Crafts, Archery and Rock Climbing. Definitely two very tiring days!

Another Summer Programme out of the way, yet again filled with some amazing memories for everyone at PYP! How are we going to top this one?

A huge thank you to everyone we visited for having us and everyone who came to our Summer Clubs with their fantastic workshop. But the biggest thank you goes to all our super young people who made summer 2019 our best summer yet, we couldn't have done it without you!
