Priority Youth Project Liverpool

Will Grant

Youth Worker

Will has been delivering youth work for the past 18 years working for Liverpool Youth and Play Service before joining Priority Youth in 2014. As a young person growing up in Liverpool, Will was exposed to negative behaviours which encouraged him to make the wrong choices and follow the wrong crowd. Fortunately, he gained support from his local youth centre which provided him with the tools to change his life and inspired him to become a youth worker. Since that turning point in his life he has been able to develop projects that have transformed lives, providing young people with alternative avenues of opportunity resulting in positive outcomes. He has plenty of experience in developing and delivering all aspects of youth and play work in a variety of settings including centre based, detached, outreach and mobile provision. In addition Will specialises in sporting activities, and enjoys teaching young people new skills and developing their learning. He facilitates football sessions and has experience in organising football tournaments abroad and managing teams. He also runs our very popular fishing club. He strongly believes that by giving our time and commitment to young people, positive progress and achievements can be gained.
